How we earn money (affiliate disclosure)
Last updated: October 22, 2026
The short version: ChairSmarts earns money through affiliate links. When you click one of our links to a retailer and buy something, that retailer may pay us a commission. It does not cost you anything extra.
What is an affiliate link?
An affiliate link is a special link to a store's website. It lets the store know that you came from ChairSmarts. If you buy something within a certain amount of time after clicking, the store pays us a small percentage of the sale. That money helps pay for running this site.
Who pays us
We earn commissions from online retailers, mainly medical-supply and mobility stores, through their affiliate programs. Some programs are run directly by the store, and some through affiliate networks.
We are setting up these partnerships now. As each retailer approves us, we will list it by name on this page.
How we label it
- Every page with affiliate links says so near the top, before the first link.
- Our social media posts that include affiliate links say so right next to the link, for example: "We earn a commission if you buy through this link."
- A short disclosure also appears at the bottom of every page on this site.
What it doesn't change
- We pick products by fit and review quality, not by how much a retailer pays us.
- We don't accept payment to rank a product higher or to write a positive review.
- If we receive a free product to test, we'll say so on that page.
Prices and availability
Prices, stock, shipping, and return policies are set by each retailer and can change at any time. Please check the retailer's website before you buy. Your purchase is between you and the retailer.
